Jeep lift kits are installed on older model jeeps and not your brand new jeep. The lift kit is simply used to lift the body or the suspension system. Types of Lifts
Basically, there are two types of RE jeep lift systems. The Body lift system which is most likely the least expensive RE jeep system. This type of system is ordered or sold in 1, 2, or 3 inch sizes and will lift your jeep from the frame. The suspension system is more sophisticated because they are 4” high and can be as high as 16” or more. You’ll find the RE jeep suspension system to be more expensive than the body lift system. Simply put, you replace the rear and front suspension system which is the springs and shocks on this lift.
