Rubicon Express Lift Kits

Founded in 1996, Rubicon Express Suspension (RE) manufacture and design lift kits for Jeeps. When you buy one of these kits, you can install the kit onto a jeep. After the installation, the jeep will sit up higher and it will get a higher jeep profile. Some RE kits are designed so that the owner can rock the jeep from side to side. RE has various styles, and types of lift kits to help you get started on this project.

Definition
Jeep lift kits are installed on older model jeeps and not your brand new jeep. The lift kit is simply used to lift the body or the suspension system. Therefore, you can install taller tires because the wheel wells are higher. Keep in mind when you install the RE lift system you may have to make modifications to the jeep in some areas. Get help if you can not install the lift system or hire a qualified mechanic to do it for you. Think safety first.

Types of Lifts
Basically, there are two types of RE jeep lift systems. The Body lift system which is most likely the least expensive RE jeep system. This type of system is ordered or sold in 1, 2, or 3 inch sizes and will lift your jeep from the frame. The suspension system is more sophisticated because they are 4” high and can be as high as 16” or more. You’ll find the RE jeep suspension system to be more expensive than the body lift system. Simply put, you replace the rear and front suspension system which is the springs and shocks on this lift.

Expert Advice
Make sure you follow all the safety instructions in your RE jeep information installation packet. Remember that the higher you lift the jeep, the higher the chances of the jeep rolling or turning over at high speeds when you make turns.
